Geoff Peers graduated from Liverpool University Dental School in 1990 with distinctions in children's and restorative dentistry. He was also awarded the prestigious Lawton Medal for excellence in advanced operative dental surgery.

After further periods of training in hospital and community dental services he started working at this practice in 1992 and rapidly established a reputation for quality and professionalism.

He strives to maintain the highest possible standards of clinical dentistry and patient care with a treatment philosophy based on preservation of sound tooth structure wherever possible. This is achieved day by day through a calm, friendly and focused approach with a passionate commitment to continuing professional development and dental education.

He has attended numerous training courses of national and international organisations and is currently participating in a programme run jointly by the British Dental Association and the Eastman dental hospital, London. He holds an appointment at Liverpool University as lecturer in restorative dentistry, guiding and mentoring dentists of the future.

He enjoys restoring teeth that others may choose to condemn and has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment). He is a member of a research and development group within the University and has recently conducted an endodontic research programme at the practice culminating in the publication of a scientific paper in the British Dental Journal.
